Partnership Conferences

The Redcar & Cleveland Partnership is brought together through conference at least three times per year allowing members from across the Partnership to be involved in collective decision making on the strategic cross cutting issues that affect all thematic blocks.

Well attended and valuable work is undertaken through conference and recent events have included:

Inclusion and Cohesion, Kirkleatham Museum, 6 July 2007

This conference featured Rose Doran from the Government's Improvement and Development Agency (IdeA)  as the keynote speaker.  Ten groups were involved in a workshop identifying barriers and solutions around the neighbourhoodness and respect agenda.

Employment, Redcar Racecourse, 25 April 2008

The aim of this conference was to look at various issues around employment and worklessness and how the views of attendees could be used to inform the development of the Redcar & Cleveland Employment Strategy.

Talking Culture, Kirkleatham Museum, 27 June 2008

This event was held to agree the future role of culture within the Redcar & Cleveland Partnership based on the recommendations of the 'Culture @ the Strategic Centre' review.

Focusing on Comprehensive Area Assessment, James Finegan Hall, 20 April 2009.

The event was held to bring together agencies from all sectors as a briefing to the CAA process.
