

When the Redcar and Cleveland Partnership was restructured in May 2006, a decision was taken by the Partnership to undertake more work and decision making through conference, thus allowing members from across the Partnership to be involved in collective partnership decision making.

The latest conference on inclusion and cohesion was held on 6th July 2007 at Bellamy Pavilion, Kirkleatham and featured Rose Doran from the Government's Improvement and Development Agency (IdeA) as the keynote speaker. 10 groups were involved in a workshop identifying barriers and solutions around the neighbourliness and respect agenda.
