As a Partnership we are committed to listening to and learning from you - our communities. This site will give you all the information you need about public consultation in the Borough.

On 26th October 2006 the Government published a white paper entitled 'Strong and Prosperous Communities - The Local Government White Paper'. The white paper's vision is of local authorities, working with their partners and the citizens, to reshape public services around what people think is needed in their area.

This means:

changing the way we work to give citizens and communities a bigger say
reducing the amount of top-down control from central government
re-enabling citizens and communities to play their part
